Your Indie Pop Record Label Is Weird, Ours Is Too!

Ana Them Records (Seattle, WA), because no one wants to hear it!

Alternative music lives on in this sort of like Indie Pop record label. Ana Them Records plays music that sounds a lot like Indie Pop, sounds a lot like Power Pop but still sounds like something uniquely Seattle.

Ana Them Records in Talks with New Band:
The Indie Pop Music Scene has a new band out there and ATR may sign them up. One thing is clear, ATR is looking to add a new band to our roster. More news to follow.

Fred Roth Revue:
Fred Roth Revue records their second release. The scheduled release date will be sometime in the summer or fall. It will sound like Indie Pop. It will sound like Power Pop. It will sound uniquely like Seattle.

The thing about the Fred Roth Revue is they think they play the Indie Pop Power Pop music that they love but their fans would argue that they're more of a quirky rock band. Not unlike an early Talking Heads. With only two albums out and one on the way, their future sound is yet to be determined.

Indie Pop Music News:
The Indie Pop Music Scene has never been so divided. In the UK, Indie Pop seems to be finding a resurgence whereas in the US, it's almost treated like a bad word. Not exactly treated like Grunge but it ain't sounding like sunshine. In fact the word Indie has lost it's cool somewhere over the past few years. So uh...what does a Indie Pop, Power Pop record label like Ana Them Records do? The throw away their hard earned money and make more Indie Pop, Power Pop music. It's a kick in the pants.

The Story of this Indie Pop Power Pop record label is a lot like the story of The Ingenious Hidalgo Don Quixote of La Mancha (the great Spanish Literary Tale). Like the novel Ana Them Records is farcical on the surface but the second half (sometime in 2020 for us) will be more serious and philosophical about the theme of deception. Damn, did we lose anyone with that reference? Okay, so we'll stop here and let you dig what we're cooking up. Support local musicians, contribute anyway you can. Participate, get involved! Call your mother!

Help!

Support Local Music no matter what but also support us by finding bands we can support. Or you can join us by blogging about your favorite local artists, they don't have to be on our label.
